A car dashboard is usually either empty or covered in clutter: a cheap hanging freshener, a paper note with your phone number for parking attendants, and nothing that makes the cabin feel special at night. This Solar Car Aroma Diffuser puts all of that into one heavy, metal-feeling bar that sits on the dashboard. The unit was filmed on camera and inspected before listing, which is why it is well below the new price.
The RGB light strip across the front cycles through about a dozen patterns, so that the cabin gets a proper ambient glow instead of darkness. The lights run from USB-C power. In our test the solar panel on top mainly keeps the fragrance system topped up, not the light show.
A rotating number dial is a hidden parking plate. Dial your phone number and flip it into view when you park, so that someone can call you instead of blocking you in. Flip it away when you drive off to keep your number private. The maker says it switches on when you get in and off when you leave.
The honest catch from our review: the fragrance side needs the maker’s dedicated bottles. Ours came without them, so we could not test the spray. Plan on the diffuser as a bonus, not the main reason to buy.
